Paranoid thought.

Sometimes I fear that my life is slipping into snippets. I just don't feel the energy I used to have to write everything out. Maybe I'm just lazy. Maybe I should start a journal. Maybe links are just easier. Probably all of the above. Maybe tomorrow I'll write something that's fleshed out. Yes. Maybe tomorrow.

I dreamed a dream in days gone by.

Last night I dreamt that I dropped a parachuted video camera from a hot-air balloon in order to get a video of what one sees when one falls from the sky. Simpler solutions didn't occur to me at the time. Moments later, I too decided to take the plunge. I jumped from my aloft hot-air balloon, fell like a feather through thousands of feet, and landed (unhurt) on an impossibly slick ice luge. Then, in an unprecedented state of exhilaration, I rocketed through technicolor zinnia fields at warp speed on a sled ride to trump all others.

Needless to say, it was the best dream I've had in quite some time--almost as good as the time I took a jeep ride through a "ballerina farm" with Brad Pitt.

Dirty.

Lately, in my dejected state, I have been pushing the limits of socially acceptable personal hygiene (or lack thereof). I will rise again.

I just donated to Doctors Without Borders. According to the New York Times they were the first there to offer aid, and they are desperately swamped.
